The exterior is made of 3-meter Class 4 autoclave-treated Douglas pine cladding, requiring no maintenance.
Structural panels (wall, roof, and floor) provide outstanding performance in terms of waterproofing, thermal, and acoustic insulation. The entire structure is fire-resistant and meets RT2012 insulation standards.

Administrative requirements:

Depending on your project, you may need either a prior declaration of work or a building permit. You should check with your local town hall. As a general rule:

     ° Between 5m² and 20m² (up to 40 m² in areas covered by a local urban plan - PLU):   prior declaration of works required
     ° Over 20m² (or 40 m² with PLU) : building permit required

The connection between your home and the extension is handled by Jardin Boheme. We ensure full waterproofing and long-term durability.
We install 35 mm sealing joints using silicone-based materials, along with aluminum protective elements at connection points and along the sides.
Aluminum is durable and requires no maintenance.

We use wood from sustainably managed, PEFC-certified Pyrenean forests, one of the lowest energy-consuming building materials.

Wood construction is also more cost-effective, as it significantly reduces construction time (around 10 days versus several months for brick or concrete) helping lower both costs and delays.
Our building process is clean and efficient: all cutting and preparation work is done in our workshop beforehand, making the on-site installation fully optimized and 100% recyclable.
